Hi All,

Can anyone guide about Customization in OTL Workflow For Employees. I have done Customization in  workflow Process
Apply Rules and Notify Approvers---Find And Notify Approvers---Approval Notification and Timeout Process

Now I want setups in OTL to  follow my custom  workflow.

E.G. We have Document type window in Purchasing.

Error Text Message not showing Correctly when Invoking WF_CORE.RAISE

Hi All,
I'm trying to raise a Standard Exception "ECX_USER_TP_NOT_VALID" from the WF_RESOURCES Table.
The data in the WF_RESOURCES table is as follows:
TYPENAMELANGUAGEIDTEXT
WFTKNECX_USER_TP_NOT_VALIDUS0The user: &p_user_name is not authorized to perform the transaction.
I tried calling the said Error Message using the below code:
Quote
WF_CORE.TOKEN('p_user_name', fnd_global.user_name);
WF_CORE.RAISE('ECX_USER_TP_NOT_VALID');
Note: fnd_global.user_name's value is "JISIP" when Executed.
But it only displayed the Error Name (not the Error Text) in the OAF Page:

[ECX_USER_TP_NOT_VALID] p_user_name=JISIP
I want to make it appear correctly as:
Quote
The user: JISIP is not authorized to perform the transaction.
Thoughts?

Hi,

I would include a new node in the Workflow process after the notification is sent to receive a custom business event.

Then when the button is pressed in the form, raise that business event with an event key that matches the item key for the Workflow process.

When the event is raised, the process will restart.

Hello

I have the following scenario:

Employee submits his self assessment to his manager through a custom form(starting workflow process).
Manager receives a notification from employee contains a link to open a custom form.
After opening the form ,manager enters his assessment for his subordinate and press the button to send a notification to employee(resume the previous workflow process)

my question is
how to pause this process till the manager press the button back in the custom form

I need your help please

Hi,

You need to do the following steps:

1) Before the notification, include a custom function activity to work out when the notification should time out.
2) Store the result of that calculation in a numeric item attribute.
3) Modify the notification activity in the process so that it has a timeout, and use the item attribute as the timeout

When the process runs, the notification will now timeout for the period calculated in the activity.

Hi All,

We require one workflow Customization in OTL Workflow for employees

Scenario

1) Employee Submits Time card
2) Approval Notification generated for Supervisor
3) Notification will remain in supervisor Queue till Tuesday 8 am
4) if he not approves then notification will re route to another person

I need help for point # 3
